Embed and links
Embed client onboarding on your website
A published workflow gets a public link you can use straight away. Embed it as an iframe on your own website, send it as a tracked email invite, or run it on your firm's own subdomain. Restrict it behind a sign-in gate if only certain people should start it. Bot protection and rate limits are on by default, and the widget works in English, Spanish, Italian and Romanian.
- Embed the flow as an iframe on any page you already have
- Send a tracked email invite or share the public link directly
- Run it on your firm's own subdomain, in four languages
How do I put an onboarding form on my own website?
A published workflow has a public link that also works as an iframe source, so it can sit directly on a page you already have, most often a 'Become a client' page, without sending visitors anywhere else. The applicant fills the form, uploads files and signs without ever noticing they have left your site, because the whole flow renders inside your own page from start to finish.
Can I send the onboarding link by email instead?
Yes. The same workflow can go out as a tracked email invite: a magic link addressed to one applicant, with open and completion tracking so you can see whether they have started. It is a good fit when there is no page to embed the form on, or when you want to reach someone directly rather than waiting for them to visit your site.
Do I need my own web address to run this?
No. Every organisation gets its own branded subdomain, yourfirm.braigest.app, and a published workflow runs there without any setup of your own beyond publishing it. Embedding it on your website or sending it by email are both optional ways to reach applicants who would otherwise have to be pointed at that subdomain directly, and all three point at the exact same underlying run.
Can I stop anonymous visitors from starting a run?
Yes. Put a sign-in gate on the workflow so an applicant has to authenticate through an identity provider before the run starts, or before they can continue partway through it, rather than letting anyone with the link begin straight away. See the sign-in gates page for the three modes a gate can run in and how each one behaves for the applicant.
Is the public link protected against bots and abuse?
Yes. Bot protection and rate limits sit in front of every public workflow by default, and they fail closed: if a check cannot be completed, the run is refused rather than let through anyway. This applies whether the applicant reaches the workflow by a direct link, an embed on your website, or an email invite, with no separate setup needed for each channel.
What languages does the embedded widget support?
The widget speaks English, Spanish, Italian and Romanian, and adapts its own layout so the same embedded form works on a phone or a laptop without a separate mobile version to build or maintain. An applicant sees the flow in whichever of those languages your workflow is set up to offer, chosen once by the author rather than guessed from the browser.
Frequently asked questions
Can I embed the onboarding form on a page I already have?
Yes. A published workflow's public link also works as an iframe source, so it can sit on an existing page, such as a 'Become a client' page, without sending visitors anywhere else.
Does the email invite show me whether it was opened?
Yes. An email invite is a tracked magic link, so you can see whether the applicant has opened it and whether they went on to complete the run, all without asking them directly.
Can I require sign-in before someone starts an onboarding run?
Yes. A sign-in gate can check identity before the run even starts, partway through it, or leave it optional, depending on the mode you choose for that step, so only the people you intend can proceed.
What happens if a bot tries to spam the public link?
Bot protection and rate limits sit in front of the public link by default and fail closed, so a suspicious burst of activity is refused rather than let through to your workflow.
Does the onboarding form work well on a phone?
Yes. The widget adapts its layout for phone and laptop alike, so an applicant filling in the form or signing a document on their phone gets the same flow as on a desktop.
